Endotracheal Tube

An endotracheal tube (ETT) is a medical device used to establish and maintain a patent airway in patients who require assisted ventilation or respiratory support. It is commonly utilized in critical care units, operating rooms, and emergency medicine settings. The endotracheal tube is inserted through the mouth or nose and advanced into the trachea, providing a direct pathway for oxygen and controlled delivery of mechanical ventilation.

The endotracheal tube consists of a flexible tube made of medical-grade materials, such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or silicone.
